At L'Habitation, education is a great story!
ORGANIZE YOUR HOME SCHOOL OUTING
On the program for your successful outing, the dwelling offers activities for children, a visit to the museum of piracy in the West Indies, a permanent exhibition on woodworking in Guadeloupe, play areas, a mini-farm, a Creole house to visit, and even a tree house. The arboretum is a meeting place for local biodiversity, and an opportunity to remind children of the importance of preserving it.
What's more, you're in the perfect location for additional activities: The magnificent Pointe Noire beach is just across the street from the Habitation, a short walk away; as is the municipal swimming pool.
A botanical area
The Habitation is laid out like a large garden, with a number of educational areas. In particular, children can discover the arboretum and the woodworking trades (joinery, wooden objects, different types of wood...).
A museum of piracy
Ships, pirate weapons, hats, cannons... and, of course, educational panels to learn all about the pirates of the West Indies!
Fun activities to let off steam
With outdoor games, a tree house, a giant pirate ship to play on... there's really everything they need at the Habitation to have a great time on a memorable school outing!
